About Marijke

Marijke (1972) is Dutch, an entrepreneur, connector, organiser, mother and creative spirit. She loves the whole country of the Netherlands. She has lived in Gelderland, Groningen, Utrecht and Noord-Holland, and twice spent six months in Germany and Italy.
Both for work and privately, she travels all over the Netherlands.
She lived in Amsterdam for 22 years.

Marijke is interested in people and cultures, speaks 5 languages and loves to organise, help and connect. She loves to hear your story.

Marijke connects entrepreneurial women through her network Bites & Business, she organises many dinner parties at her home — including for expats — and she loves attending local events across the Netherlands.

What's on offer?

Marijke is still developing her offerings for the internationals here to stay for a while. The first services are:

Invite Marijke in your living room and invite your expat friends. She will do a theme talk (theme at your request) and you can ask her everything about the Netherlands

5. Bites & Business - network dinners
For professional women only (sorry men), Marijke founded a network, Bites & Business. It has 30 local chapters in the Netherlands that organise local networking dinners. Three of the chapters are non-Dutch, English speaking chapters. In Amsterdam, Eindhoven and The Hague. Meet like-minded women, inspire each other and help each other.
