Ga op stap met Marijke! Ze neemt je mee naar lokale evenementen in de regio, dus buiten de ring van Amsterdam!

Over Marijke

Marijke (1972) is Nederlander, ondernemer, verbinder, organisator, moeder en een creatieve geest. Ze is dol op Nederland buiten de ring.
Ze heeft gewoond in Gelderland, Groningen, Utrecht en Noord-Holland en twee keer een half jaar in Duitsland en Italië.
Voor haar werk, en ook privé, komt ze in heel Nederland.

Ze woonde 22 jaar in Amsterdam.

Marijke verbindt ondernemende vrouwen bij haar netwerk Bites & Business, ze organiseert veel etentjes bij haar thuis, o.a. voor expats en ze gaat zelf graag naar lokale evenementen in Nederland.

Ze is geïnteresseerd in mensen en culturen, spreekt 5 talen en houdt van organiseren. Ze wil dus ook jouw verhaal horen.

Hoe werkt het?
Als je geïnteresseerd bent in de excursies, word je lid van de Whatsapp-groep "Op stap met Marijke". Hierin wordt de kalender gecommuniceerd en per excursie de details. Wil je je inschrijven, dan vul je het aanmeldformulier in.

We praten onderweg Nederlands, want je wilt vast je Nederlands verbeteren, maar Engels als het nodig is.
Marijke zorgt altijd voor een snack. :-)

Voorbeelden van trips

Hieronder vind je voorbeelden van excursies:

naar een lokale braderie of rommelmarkt in een leuk dorp
een boottochtje op de Zaan
naar een toneelstuk in de openlucht
naar een bijzonder museum in Noord-Holland
naar een lokale wintermarkt
naar een veiling van bloemen
een fietstocht door bollenvelden
een wandeling door een natuurgebied dat normaal gesloten is
met kinderen naar een heel hoog duin
een dagtocht met drie elementen in Noord-Holland
een fietstocht gecombineerd met een bierproeverij
een muziekfestival in de provincie

Praktische zaken

De kosten variëren per excursie. Per evenement staan de kosten erbij. Het vervoer er heen is soms samen, soms met de auto, soms met de trein, soms met de fiets. Als het voor kinderen leuk is, staat dat er bij. De begin- en eindtijd varieert ook, ook dat staat vermeld.
Soms is een museumjaarkaart handig. De excursies zijn meestal in het weekend, maar soms ook door de weeks.

How does it work?

If you're interested in the excursions, you join the WhatsApp group "Op stap met Marijke". The calendar and details for each excursion are shared there. To sign up, you fill in the registration form.
We speak Dutch along the way — because you probably want to improve your Dutch — but English when needed.
Marijke always brings a snack. :-)

Example trips

Here are some examples of excursions:

- a local fair or flea market in a charming village

- a boat trip on the river Zaan
- an open-air theatre performance
- a special museum in North Holland
- a local winter market
- a flower auction
- a cycling tour through tulip fields
- a walk through a nature reserve that is normally closed to the public
- a trip to a very high sand dune with children
- a day trip with three highlights in Noord-Holland
- a cycling tour combined with a beer tasting
- a music festival in the provinces

Practical information

Costs vary per excursion and are listed with each event. Transport varies too — sometimes shared, sometimes by car, train or bike. If the trip is suitable for children, this is mentioned. Start and end times also vary and are always listed. A museumjaarkaart can sometimes come in handy. Excursions are usually at weekends, but sometimes on weekdays.
